Why we break the rules?

We drive on footpath sometime. We don’t obey traffic signals sometime. We park in wrong place sometime. Not only traffic rules, we don’t separate wet / dry garbage at home. We break the queue and find shortcut etc etc…

We are all fairly educated, well disciplined, social concerned and obviously civilized citizens of the country. We know the rules are made for us only and to make our life easy. Usually we don’t wish to disobey any rules.

But why? Why do we do so? Are we doing it purposefully? Some of us sometimes may not be but most of the times;
Traffic is so much, roads are under construction. Even we start early enough considering traffic jam time; we can’t reach in time which is really critical for us. We will drive on footpath!

We will cross the signal even we can see red and risk our life when we see the empty road in all other three sides, still it is red & making us wait since signals are automated!

We park in front of a medical shop at no parking & going to buy a tablet quickly when nearest parking is half a kilometer away, for that you will have to cross a signal, take a ‘U’ turn in a very busy road & do the same exercise again when you need to start back!

We get some food from hotel late night, which is packed in plastic sheets/cover, we consumed a half, and want to put the remaining to the garbage bin as we are done, do we separate wet & dry? No! In fact not even later in the morning, because, we pay for the person collecting the garbage & even we paid tax to BBMP! In front of us someone who troughs garbage in a roadside & who does the wet & dry separation for that?  We ask why I should do. Should we do it since we manage garbage bin to protect the street clean & we pay for collecting it?

I am standing since one and a half hour in the queue, but the person came now in front of me, got it done and moving out smiling at me! We break queue.

…and so on. What is common? Not only the vehicles are increased, we are not provided with the good wide road with fluent moving lanes which is construction free. No scientifically managed signals. No expert & driver friendly COPs. If it is for the traffic management, story will be different with garbage management.  Many more different stories, with many more other different things also. These are just the glimpses and severe things are lot many other.

But, to observe here is, we are not doing it purposefully but our infrastructure, our system or our rules are not providing us the justice. Lack of justice makes people loose respect for the law. Not to claim that breaking the rules/laws are fine but if we focus on public interest & justice before insist the rules, considerably the rules breakers will be reduced. How do you say?

We are a high-tech country!! ?

Absolutely we need the progress; we are humbly looking for mobile phones in the hands of poor agriculturists, Tablets for every school/college student, advanced bullet trains / metros, more & more high-tech AC /multi axel buses, airport in every district etc…

What we have now? Are we done with basic infrastructure before going to those above facilities? Do we have 3 times proper food to everyone in our country? Do our villages where agriculture is the only source of life leading, are connected with good roads? Do the electricity / phone service is available for these villages?  Do our schools have proper sitting desks for students? Do our gov’t hospitals have all facilities & doctors? How many of our grama panchayat’s have computer & printing facilities?

If consider the cities, are the roads connecting cities are good? Are the roads inside the cities are good? Are the bus stands/railway stations are fine? How about foot paths? How is water supply? Drainage management? At least can we properly manage garbage in cities?

This is about basic infrastructure. If it is about safety, how our army is doing? Are we providing them all the facilities & needs? Do our borders compounded/fenced well? Weapons / vehicles to them are in place? Food to them? And inside the city, are our police people are happy with the facility? Traffic managed well? Jails protected very well?

If we think about business, Industries are doing well? Are they producing what we need? Companies are fine, so that offering good number of employment? We are doing a good amount of export? How is the price of petrol / diesel & why?

Questions are endless. But the question on the top of those is, DO we need all these above mentioned (in 1st paragraph) now or we need to look in to 2nd, 3rd & 4th paragraphs first? If not, here we are heading to? Are we really need to prefer 1st paragraph things despite of neglecting all 2, 3 & 4 and more?

If we try to do it by getting loan from somewhere, is it going to help our economy? Isn’t it causing a big damage to our country one day in future? How it helps to improve our economy? After all, to whom these facility / luxury are? Looks like a joke if you say our country is progressing with all these. Isn’t it?

Heard once Indira Gandhi was saying economic independence is a must & remaining progress later. Where we stand towards it today? How do you say?

Not Politics Nation First

We are not a political / communal / religious group, but INDIANS!

We think for us. We mean ‘us’ are the people of our country & if they are fine; what else can stop the development of our country?

We think (Discuss) for ‘us’ in the form of Healthy Society, better administration, good Infrastructure, policies, social harmony, Education, employment, technology, Culture, economy and more.. Absolutely open discussion & on any of the social concerns.

Yes. We should debate, should condemn & should criticize  but constructively. No abusing, No hate monger, No vulgar.

We discuss. Because people who can act, can read it & they can prioritize for ‘us’ when they implement it as ‘they can read what we need!’.  And we feel, we think far better than they do, since ‘we’ think it for ‘us’.

Don’t you think we can impact towards betterment of several things?

No worry, they will read because it is not one of us, but ‘we’ & and is not for one of us but for ‘us’.

Hope a lot of us will join ‘us’
